About Us

Ensemble Pro Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the ensemble format among music students and the public. The foundation of this association is rooted in a clear vision aimed at addressing several challenges faced by ensemble education and popularization:

  • Lack of Awareness: Many people, including music students and their families, do not fully understand what ensemble playing entails, which can lead to misconceptions about its value and purpose.

  • Complexity of Organization: Organizing ensemble activities can be daunting due to their complex nature, discouraging educators and institutions from implementing them.

  • Music Selection and Arrangement: Finding suitable music that fits the skill level and interests of all members, and arranging it appropriately, is often challenging.

  • Logistics and Costs: Coordinating rehearsal times and locations and covering associated costs can be prohibitive.

  • Performance Opportunities: Securing venues and occasions for public performance can be limited, reducing visibility and practical experience for participants.

The organization is led by Meixuan and Max, founders of Belle Melodie Music, and Fangfang Pan, the chairperson of GOCAA.

They achieve this through financial support from individual donations, corporate sponsorships, and governmental and organizational funding. These funds are utilized to facilitate rehearsals led by professional musicians, the creation and arrangement of new ensemble pieces, and the expansion of performance opportunities, including competitive events. The association also focuses on community engagement by delivering ensemble performances and educational presentations to various groups, including schools, churches, senior homes, veterans' services, asylums, and hospitals.
